On interacting with Americans

In an increasingly internationalized world, intercultural competence is getting more and more socially relevant. Particularly, Americans play an important role in intercultural encounters, as the USA represents one of the most important and influential (economic) partners for various countries. The omnipresence of americanization requires deeper preoccupation with the American way of life. Thus, what is the best way of dealing with Americans and why are they so different? In my presentation, I will focus on these issues.
